Cathryn Neo Joins PDLegal’s Arbitration Practice
PDLegal LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Cathryn Neo as partner to bolster the firm’s International Arbitration and China Practices.
Prior to joining PDLegal LLC, Cathryn practised in the Dispute Resolution team of a leading UK international law firm in Singapore. Cathryn has a broad commercial disputes practice with experience in international arbitration, insolvency and restructuring, and mediation. She has handled high-value commercial disputes under SIAC, ICC and HKIAC rules in the financial as well as energy and construction sectors.
Cathryn began her career in dispute resolution as an Associate for a leading international arbitrator, Dr Michael Hwang S.C., where she assisted arbitral tribunals in numerous institutional and ad hoc arbitrations and worked with a panel of judges at the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts.
Cathryn is a bilingual (English and Mandarin), dual-qualified (Singapore and Australia (Vic)) and an accredited mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre. She holds several key appointments in the legal industry, including as committee member of the Beihai Asia International Arbitration Centre and the co-vice chairperson of the Law Society Women in Practice Committee. She also sits as the inaugural chairperson of the Young Practitioners Network for the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb).
